JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Koordinator Aliansi Akademisi Peduli Indonesia (AAPI), Prof. Sulistyowati Irianto menyampaikan beberapa poin-poin harapan kepada pemerintahan Presiden Prabowo, seperti restrukturisasi kabinet dan lembaga pemerintahan agar lebih ramping efisien serta tidak membebani anggaran negara. Misal wamen rangkap jabatan jadi komisaris.Selain itu, kebijakan politik anggaran harus tepat dan sebesar-besarnya untuk kemakmuran rakyat.
"Makan Bergizi Gratis, barangkali bagus. Tapi harus juga ada prioritasnya. Wilayah mana yg membutuhkan?," katanya.
Rektor UII, Fathul Wahid melihat parlemen belum menjadi sparring partner pemerintah, memastikan kebijakan berbasis data, scientific, dan diarahkan utk masyarakat banyak. Bukan untuk sekelompok orang. Selain itu, fenomena yang dipicu kenaikan fasilitas tunjangan DPR. Itu harus dirasionalisasi.
Terakhir, anggota DPR harus betul-betul memperjuangkan aspirasi rakyat, bukan parpol. Selama ini argumen yang dipakai seringkali mengabaikan kepentingan rakyat.
Sementara itu aktivis 1998, Savic Ali mengatakan perlunya reformasi aparat penegak hukum.
"Mengajak ketum parpol, ketua ormas, semua masyarakat untuk tenang, tetapi kalau dalam proses pendidikan di kepolisian enggak bener, proses rekrutmennya nggak bener, yang isinya itu orang-orang yang menikmati melakukan kekerasan, ya problem. Mereka tidak layak jadi aparat hukum. Harus direformasi," tegasnya.
