Caleb Flynn trial: Song for mistress played in ex-American Idol singer's murder trial

Caleb Flynn, a former pastor and previous contestant on American Idol is on trial for the murder of his wife Ashley Flynn, who was found fatally shot in February after police received a report of a burglary and shooting at a home in Tipp City, Ohio.

In a 911 call, Caleb Flynn told a dispatcher that someone broke into his home and killed his wife, though prosecutors allege he was the shooter and staged the crime scene in an attempt to mislead investigators.

Caleb Flynn's ex-mistress, identified as Alleigha Botner was called to testify. Prosecutors also played a song reportedly written for Botner with the help of artificial intelligence (AI).
