Die Teilnehmerstaaten wollen in den kommenden Tagen unter anderem darüber sprechen, wie ärmere Länder beim Klimaschutz finanziell unterstützt werden können. Außerdem soll über Strategien verhandelt werden, wie der globale Ausstoß von Treibhausgasen reduziert werden kann. Ankommen wird es dabei vor allem auf die reichen Industriestaaten, die einen bedeutenden Anteil der C02-Emissionen verursachen. Ist Deutschland bereit, in den kommenden Tagen echte Zugeständnisse zu machen? In den tagesthemen hat Ingo Zamperoni mit dem Bundesumweltminister Carsten Schneider gesprochen. Er vertritt die deutsche Bundesregierung am Verhandlungstisch im brasilianischen Belém.
