La joven investigadora criminal Colombo está decidida a esclarecer el homicidio, pero tendrá que luchar contra un sistema patriarcal que defiende los abusos y trata de someterla a los mandatos de una sociedad que protege a los perpetradores y condena a las víctimas. Su esfuerzo por descubrir la verdad irá más allá del caso, ya que descubrirá injusticias y abusos dentro y fuera del entorno familiar.
