➡️ Wie deutlich hat die AfD die Landtagswahl gewonnen?
Die erste ARD-Prognose sah die AfD bei 44,5 % und die CDU bei 18,5 %. In der späteren Hochrechnung lag die AfD bei rund 44,2 %, die CDU bei 18 %. Damit wurde die AfD klar stärkste Kraft, verfehlte nach dem damaligen Stand aber die absolute Mehrheit der Sitze.
➡️ Warum ist die Regierungsbildung so schwierig?
Die AfD kam in der Hochrechnung auf 39 Sitze, für eine absolute Mehrheit wären 42 nötig gewesen. Linke, SPD und Grüne zogen sicher in den Landtag ein, während das BSW am Wahlabend um den Einzug bangen musste. Die anderen sicher vertretenen Parteien lehnten eine Zusammenarbeit mit der AfD ab.
➡️ Welche Folgen hat das Ergebnis für die CDU?
Die CDU fiel von 37,1 % bei der Wahl 2021 auf rund 18 % und erzielte damit ihr bislang schlechtestes Ergebnis bei einer Landtagswahl in Sachsen-Anhalt. Die Debatte dreht sich nun um ihren politischen Kurs, die Brandmauer und die Auswirkungen auf Bundeskanzler Friedrich Merz.
