Keputusan ini diambil berdasarkan kesepakatan pimpinan DPR bersama seluruh ketua fraksi partai politik di Senayan pada Kamis (4/9/2025).
Selain penghentian tunjangan, rapat juga menyepakati moratorium kunjungan kerja bagi anggota maupun komisi DPR RI.
