Molte delle idee sostenute a viso aperto da Kirk erano indubbiamente sbagliate, per non dire grossolanamente ingenue, frutto di un vago e malfondato disagio rispetto alla civiltà a forma di merce. Ma questo non autorizza in alcun modo a godere della sua morte o a far finta che sia normale che un essere umano venga ammazzato barbaramente per le sue idee. Le idee false si combattono con le idee vere. E il contrario di falsità è verità, non censura o, peggio ancora, uccisione.
