The Ghanians we refuse to hear | Dr. Naa Adzoa Adzeley Boi-Dsane | TEDxUniversityofCapeCoast
Dr Naa Adzoa Adzeley Boi-Dsane (a Ghanaian medical doctor) walked into her consulting room with a pen and paper in hand, and the next set of events in that room changed the trajectory of everything. She made a deliberate decision that ultimately led her beyond the medical field and into classrooms, competition arenas and the corridors of power. She poses thought-provoking questions and challenges a system that has refused to understand Ghana's community of over 110,000 Deaf individuals. The truths are shocking, but what she did about it is inspiring.
Catch the unforgettable moments in this talk.
