KIRCHENASYL IN DEUTSCHLAND: Zahl der geschützten Flüchtlinge steigt deutlich!

Die Zahl der Kirchenasylfälle ist 2024 deutlich gestiegen: 2.386 Flüchtlinge wurden laut Bundesamt für Migration und Flüchtlinge (BAMF) in Kirchengemeinden oder Orden aufgenommen – rund 300 mehr als im Vorjahr. Meist handelt es sich um sogenannte Dublin-Fälle, bei denen Migranten aus einem sicheren Drittstaat nach Deutschland eingereist sind. Besonders im Fokus stehen drei Somalier, die über Polen kamen, ihre Rückführung gerichtlich stoppten und nun Kirchenasyl beantragen könnten.
