Pengumuman ini disampaikan oleh Presiden Trump melalui unggahan di media sosial Truth Social pada Sabtu (21/6).
Dikatakan oleh Trump bahwa seluruh pesawat saat ini telah berada di luar udara wilayah Iran.
Trump mengultimatum Iran untuk segera menghentikan serangan terhadap Israel dan mengakhiri konflik yang ada.
Terkait serangan AS ke Iran, Trump disebut akan menyampaikan pidatonya.
Pejabat AS mengonfirmasi bahwa pesawat yang digunakan dalam misi tersebut adalah pesawat pengebom B-2.
B-2 menjadi satu-satunya pesawat yang dimiliki AS yang mampu menargetkan dan menghancurkan fasilitas nuklir Iran yang terkubur dalam seperti Fordow.
Seorang pejabat AS yang tak disebutkan namanya seperti yang dikutip dari The New York Times mengatakan, sejumlah bom seberat kurang lebih 14 kg digunakan dalam serangan ke Fordow ini.
Ini jadi langkah terbaru yang dilakukan oleh Amerika Serikat, setelah Gedung Putih mengumumkan bahwa Trump sedang menimbang keputusan penting untuk terlibat langsung dalam perang Israel-Iran.
Ketua Komite Hubungan Luar Negeri Senat AS, Jim Risch mengatakan, ini bukan awal dari perang abadi.
Risch juga memastikan tak akan ada pasukan darat AS di Iran.
Menurutnya, serangan udara tersebut tepat dan terbatas serta diperlukan.
Sementara itu, ajudan Gubernur Isfahan, Akbar Salehi mengonfirmasi adanya serangan di pusat nuklir Isfahan dan Natanz.
Mereka mendengar beberapa ledakan di pusat nuklir tersebut.
