10 Raptor Engines… Then It Shut Down | Starship Update

Booster 19 has completed its first-ever static fire campaign at Starbase’s brand new Pad 2… but not without a surprise.

After igniting all 10 Raptor 3 engines, the test ended early due to a ground-side issue — and now SpaceX has confirmed exactly what happened.

In this week’s Starship Update, we break down everything from Booster 19’s rollback to Mega Bay, to Pad 2 activation milestones, and what this means for the upcoming 33-engine static fire.

Meanwhile, major progress continues across Starbase, McGregor, and Florida:

🚀 Massey’s rebuilt tank farm prepares for Ship 39
🔥 30 Raptor tests in just days at McGregor
🏗️ Pad 1 gets a next-generation flame trench
🌎 Starship infrastructure ramps up at LC-39A and SLC-37
🏭 GigaBay construction accelerates in Texas and Florida

With Pad 2 now active and Starship V3 hardware coming online, SpaceX is rapidly moving toward higher launch cadence and full system readiness.

But the big question remains…

👉 When will we see a full 33-engine static fire?

From Starbase, Texas to the Space Coast, here’s everything happening in the Starship program this week.
