Bitcoin Smash Buy, or Dollar Cost Average?

In this video, I discuss whether lump sum investing ("Smash Buy") or dollar cost averaging (DCA) into Bitcoin is the optimal investment strategy, with reference to an excellent article from Bull Bitcoin.
It turns out that lump sum investing will probably give you higher returns-- but with more volatility, which increases the probability that a newcomer to Bitcoin with low conviction could get shaken out during one of the many drawdowns.
I prefer to hit the Smash Buy button whenever I have some spare cash, but you should think through what the optimal strategy for you looks like.
Either way, the most important thing is just to "get off of zero" and buy some Bitcoin. Here's why you need Bitcoin:
1) Bitcoin is censorship-resistant money in an age of censorship, debanking, and deplatforming-- no one can stop you from sending it, receiving it, or storing it.
2) Bitcoin protects your savings from cost of living increases. Bitcoin cannot be debased by bankers like fiat money can. Bitcoin preserves your purchasing power much more effectively than stocks, bonds, or real estate-- today, tomorrow, and into your retirement.
