SURABAYA, KOMPAS.TV - Dengan mengambil tema etika dan integritas hakim di tengah tekanan sosial, media, dan risiko penghinaan terhadap pengadilan, dan putusan hakim sebagai instrumen pembentuk hukum, para hakim diharapkan mampu memberikan putusan tanpa terganggu dengan intervensi dari pihak mana pun.Dengan tetap menjaga independensi dan integritas para hakim, suatu putusan peradilan menjadi salah satu ketentuan hukum yang pasti bagi para pencari keadilan.
Demikian, Mahkamah Agung RI bersama para hakim di Indonesia terus menyempurnakan dan mengembangkan mekanisme sistem peradilan dengan melakukan kerja sama dan kajian bersama dari sistem peradilan yang ada di Belanda.
Pasalnya, tidak hanya memiliki kedekatan historis sistem hukum kedua negara yang cukup erat, namun Belanda juga telah memiliki pengalaman pelaksanaan sistem hukum bahkan sebelum Indonesia merdeka.
Dengan adanya diskusi yang mendatangkan langsung para pakar hukum dari Kerajaan Belanda, diharapkan memberikan wawasan terkait integritas dan keterbukaan informasi hukum untuk pembelajaran para hakim ke depan dalam mengambil keputusan hukum di persidangan.
