The FBI says investigative genetic genealogy is now being used in the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie as authorities push forward with new forensic strategies.According to officials, DNA was recovered from a glove that matches the type worn by the individual captured on surveillance video outside Guthrie’s home the morning she vanished. However, when that DNA was entered into CODIS, there were no matches.
Investigators also tested DNA collected from inside the home, but those results likewise failed to produce any hits in the national database.
