Il PROP trading consiste nel farsi finanziare un conto, in questo caso da Kraken, pagando un costo iniziale, dovendo superare una challenge e contenendo le perdite entro certi limiti ben precisi.

La domanda che tanti si fanno è: ma conviene o è uno scam?

Molte PROP firm nascono come scam: non pagano, chiudono improvvisamente, bloccano conti a caso. In questo caso, abbiamo a che fare con Kraken, intermediario 100% regolamentato in Europa (MiCAR e MiFID) e con sede negli USA.

Kraken acquisì Breakout (nome precedente di questa prop firm, fondata da un trader noto su X) poco tempo fa per decine di milioni di dollari, rinominandola Kraken Prop.

Non si tratta sicuramente di uno scam, ma questo non significa che ci siano guadagni certi o cose simili. Anzi, come vedremo è tutt'altro che facile passare le challenge e rimanere nei guardrail imposti.
