Japan's Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi came under fire from anti-war protesters after her speech at a memorial ceremony marking the 81st anniversary of the Battle of Okinawa. Demonstrators interrupted the event with chants opposing militarisation and calling for the protection of Article 9, Japan's constitutional clause that renounces war.
