Bye-bye HTTP POST dan GET! Kenalan sama HTTP QUERY (RFC 10008)Bulan Juni 2026, IETF resmi merilis RFC 10008: The HTTP QUERY Method — method HTTP baru pertama yang distandarisasi setelah kurang lebih 16 tahun.
Selama ini kalau kita bikin fitur pencarian dengan filter yang kompleks, kita selalu dihadapkan dua pilihan yang sama-sama tidak enak. Pakai GET? URL-nya membengkak sampai kena 414 URI Too Long. Pakai POST? Jalan sih, tapi sebenarnya kita "berbohong" ke HTTP — karena POST itu artinya mengubah state, padahal search cuma membaca data. Akibatnya response-nya tidak bisa di-cache dan tidak aman untuk di-retry.
HTTP QUERY hadir untuk menyelesaikan masalah itu: aman dan idempotent seperti GET, tapi punya request body seperti POST. Terbaik dari dua dunia.
