HANDELSKRIEG: China und USA wollen offenbar Zollpause um 90 Tage verlängernDie USA und China könnten ihre Zollpause laut einem Bericht um weitere 90 Tage verlängern. Wie die in Hongkong erscheinende Zeitung «South China Morning Post» unter Berufung auf informierte Kreise berichtet, wollen beide Seiten bei den anstehenden Gesprächen in Stockholm eine entsprechende Entschärfung im Handelskonflikt erreichen.
Bei den am morgigen Montag beginnenden Gesprächen wird US-Finanzminister Scott Bessent mit hochrangigen chinesischen Vertretern zusammentreffen. Bessent hatte bereits angekündigt, dass über eine Verlängerung der aktuell noch bis zum 12. August geltenden Zollpause verhandelt werde. Die chinesische Seite wird von Vizepremier He Lifeng angeführt.
