Total lebih dari 7.000 orang telah dievakuasi sejak hujan deras mulai turun Rabu lalu.
Dilaporkan hingga Sabtu (19/7), tercatat empat orang tewas dan dua lainnya dinyatakan hilang.
Di wilayah Seosan, curah hujan mencapai lebih dari 500 mm, memecahkan rekor lokal.
Banjir juga merusak lebih dari 641 bangunan, 388 ruas jalan, dan 59 pertanian.
Sementara di provinsi Chungcheong Selatan, kandang ternak terendam, membuat hewan nyaris tenggelam.
Adapun pemerintah mengeluarkan peringatan bahaya tanah longsor dan banjir.
Hujan diperkirakan berlanjut hingga Senin (21/7) mendatang di beberapa wilayah.
Korea Utara juga diprediksi terdampak hujan lebat yang serupa.
Pihak berwenang terus memantau situasi untuk mencegah lonjakan korban jiwa.
