In apertura del consiglio comunale di Genova il centro destra ha osservato un minuto di silenzio in memoria di Charlie Kirk, l’attivista conservatore ucciso il 10 settembre negli Stati Uniti. Martedì l’iniziativa era stata bocciata dalla conferenza dei capigruppo. In apertura della seduta, nonostante il parere contrario della vicepresidente Francesca Ghio, i consiglieri di minoranza si sono alzati in piedi hanno esposto fogli con la scritta «Prove me wrong», cioè “dimostrami che ho torto”, il format inventato da Kirk.
Poco dopo Filippo Bruzzone, consigliere della Lista Salis ed esponente di Linea Condivisa, è tornato sull’argomento: «Avete fatto una cosa illegittima e ve ne assumete la responsabilità». La consigliera Bianchi ha sbottato: «Preoccupatevi di cosa c’era scritto su quel proiettile, che siete entrati qua cantando Bella ciao».
Il consigliere del Pd Claudio Chiarotti a questo punto, come si vede nel video, ha perso le staffe, e si è rivolto alla collega di Fratelli d’Italia citando indirettamente l’impiccagione di Benito Mussolini. «Non dire ca…ate, vi abbiamo già appeso per i piedi una volta»: la frase, pronunciata fuori microfono, è stata però captata nell’audio della registrazione ufficiale del Consiglio comunale.
