Āpera Woodfine, a local Māori musician is aiding the revival of his language and the correct pronunciation of our local place names through music. In this warm hearted musical journey Āpera demonstrates the correct pronunciation of a large number of historically mis-pronounced New Zealand place names. Auckland based kaiwaiata Āpera has been soothing souls with his music since his first major release in 2015 'The Operator EP'. His warm voice, tasteful guitar work and skilful use of a loop pedal make his live shows both entertaining and relaxing for the listener.
