Kompol Cosmas Kaju Gae divonis tidak profesional dalam penanganan aksi unjuk rasa pada (28/8/2025) yang berujung tewasnya driver ojek online, Affan Kurniawan.
Dalam pengakuannya, Kompol Cosmas menyebut jika dirinya hanya melaksanakan tiugas sesuai perintah institusi dan komandan.
Sambil menangis, Cosmas menegaskan, dirinya tak pernah berniat mencelakai siapa pun.
“Dengan kejadian atau peristiwa, bukan menjadi niat, sungguh-sungguh demi Tuhan, bukan ada niat untuk membuat orang celaka, tapi sebaliknya,” katanya.
