BALI, KOMPAS.TV - Polda Bali menyebut belum ada temuan tindak pidana dalam kasus jantung jenazah warga negara Australia yang tertinggal.Kesimpulan itu diambil berdasarkan hasil autopsi.
Penyelidikan terhadap kematian WNA Australia bernama Byron Haddow masih dilakukan.
Polisi menegaskan belum menemukan unsur pidana dalam kasus itu.
Empat saksi telah diperiksa, termasuk manajer vila lokasi korban ditemukan tewas dan saudara korban.
Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat Prof. Ngurah, Denpasar, Bali, membantah ada unsur kesengajaan terkait jantung jenazah warga Australia yang tertinggal.
Pihak rumah sakit mengklaim organ jantung lama dikembalikan karena pemeriksaan patologi.
Rumah sakit juga membantah tudingan adanya praktik pencurian dan jual beli organ.
