We are live from Durban, South Africa.
South Africa is set for a major shift in its political landscape. For the first time in 30 years, political parties in South Africa are gearing up to form a coalition government. Partial results show the African National Congress, or the ANC, is set to fall well short of a majority in the national assembly, but is likely to remain the largest party. Jacob Zuma's MK party is emerging as the third-largest. The African National Congress is now expected to turn to smaller parties for support in the national assembly. For now, Zuma's MK party has ruled out a coalition with Ramaphosa's ANC. What's interesting to see is how political alliances shape up in South Africa.
