JAKARTA, KOMPASTV - Roy Suryo mengatakan ijazah Gibran Rakabuming patut diragukan"Mengapa ijazah Gibran sangat meragukan, Mas Roy?" tanya Host Bola Liar KompasTV ke Roy Suryo, Jumat (19/9/2025).
"Ya, karena memang harus ragu. Kalau orang yang enggak ragu berarti enggak waras. Iya, jelaslah. Kita lihat di website KPU ya, di situ saja sudah kelihatan SMA-nya tertulis dua kali. Masa ada orang mau SMA dua kali? Kalau perguruan tinggi dua kali wajar. gelarnya beda,"katanya.
Roy juga berpendapat saat Gibran mengambil pendidikan di UTS (University Technology of Sydney) hanya disetarakan setara dengan SMK, Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan.
"Maukah adik-adik ngambil perguruan tinggi di luar negeri, University Technology of Sydney, tapi kemudian pulang-pulang ijazahnya disetarakan SMK Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. Ada yang mau enggak? Enggak ada," katanya.
Sementara itu ada Wakil Ketua Umum Jokowi Mania, Andi Azwan merespons seluruh penjelasan Roy Suryo terkait riwayat pendidikan Gibran.
"Jangan meragukan apa yang terjadi di Singapura. Singapura itu sangat ketat sekali. Setiap student yang mendapatkan student pass itu diawasi langsung oleh namanya komisioner untuk universitas swasta ya. Jadi itu tidak bisa dibuat yang namanya ijazah palsu dan sebagainya tidak akan dibuat," katanya.
