Die Helfer kämpfen am Berg und aus der Luft: gegen Schwelbrände und Glutnester am Saurüsselkopf. Der Waldbrand in den Chiemgauer Alpen ist einer der größten Brände in Bayern seit Jahrzehnten. Und das in einem extrem steilen Gelände in über 1.000 Metern Höhe. Die Reportage zeigt, wie die Crew des Polizei-Hubschraubers auch am Ende der Feuerwoche noch weiterhin aus der Luft nach Schwelbränden suchen muss. Währenddessen sind Feuerwehrleute im steilen Gelände, von der Bergwacht gesichert, unterwegs. Aber eine Gewitterzelle zwingt sie, den Einsatz abzubrechen.
