Nel quartiere Gorla di Milano si è tenuta una fiaccolata in memoria di Pamela Genini, la giovane uccisa con decine di coltellate dal compagno. Alla manifestazione era presente anche la madre della vittima, circondata dall’affetto di centinaia di cittadini. Il corteo è partito da via Iglesias, dove la ragazza viveva, per concludersi davanti alla panchina rossa, simbolo della lotta contro la violenza di genere.
In apertura lo striscione «Per Pamela e per tutte» e lo slogan scandito dai presenti: «Non più lacrime, non più parole, basta basta a tutto questo dolore». Gli organizzatori hanno sottolineato che il femminicidio è solo la punta dell’iceberg e hanno rivolto un appello agli uomini: «Aiutateci a costruire un mondo dove siamo tutti più liberi, perché questo è il problema di base».
