En la mañana del 17 de junio, hora local, el presidente de China, Xi Jinping, se reunió con su homólogo de Uzbekistán, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, al margen de la II Cumbre China-Asia Central, que se celebra en Astaná.“Me complace reencontrarme con el viejo amigo,presidente Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Celebro el impulso positivo que está tomando la cooperación entre China y Uzbekistán, la cual avanza con vigor y de manera integral en múltiples ámbitos. China considera a Uzbekistán una prioridad en su política exterior hacia los países vecinos y está dispuesta a trabajar conjuntamente con la parte uzbeka para construir una comunidad de futuro compartido China-Uzbekistán más sólida, profunda y dinámica”, declaró el presidente de China, Xi Jinping.
