«Quando ero ministro della Difesa, nessuno mi obbligava, ma andavo a rendere omaggio al monumento che c'è al cimitero di Milano ai partigiani e portavo una corona, poi andavo al Campo 10 dove sono sepolti molti ignoti, diversi caduti della Repubblica Sociale italiana». Lo ha detto il presidente del Senato Ignazio La Russa a margine dell'apertura del Salone del Mobile rispondendo ai cronisti che gli hanno chiesto se festeggerà il 25 aprile. «Ci andavo in forma privata perché secondo me era un momento doveroso di una pacificazione - ha concluso - che, almeno quando si parla di coloro che hanno dato la vita, mi sembra doverosa.
