Aksi ini merupakan bentuk penolakan terhadap aktivitas pertambangan di wilayah Raja Ampat, Papua Barat Daya.
Koordinator Umum aksi, Trestania Kambu, mengatakan bahwa demonstrasi tersebut membawa enam poin tuntutan kepada pemerintah pusat maupun daerah.
Salah satu tuntutan utama adalah pencabutan izin tambang PT Gag Nikel di Raja Ampat.
