Namun, ia memastikan jika gelar yang ia peroleh seluruhnya asli.
Hal ini disampaikan Megawati saat menjadi pembicara acara workshop "Pengelolaan Biodiversitas dan Penguatan HKI di Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM)", Rabu (1/10).
Mulanya, Mega menyinggung soal banyaknya gelar profesor yang ia dapat.
Ia lantas mengaku jika gelar setumpuk yang Mega dapat membuatnya keren.
"Kenalkan nama saya gitu (ada gelarnya), keren deh. Sama gelar-gelar setumpuk ini. Gitu lho," jelasnya.
Meski bingung dengan banyaknya gelar itu, namun ia memastikan jika gelarnya asli.
"Saya sendiri juga heran ngopo kok akeh men (kenapa banyak banget) tapi tidak ada pemalsuan lho ini," kata Mega.
Pernyataan ketum PDIP ini langsung disambut tepuk tangan dari peserta workshop.
Selanjutnya, Mega juga menceritakan pengalaman berkuliah di Universitas Padjadjaran, Bandung, Jawa Barat, di Fakultas Pertanian.
Dirinya mengaku tidak lulus dari Fakultas Pertanian lantaran politik.
Oleh karena itu, ia kemudian memilih masuk ke Psikologi.
"Jadi saya nggak ke Yogya, saya di Universitas Padjadjaran di Fakultas Pertanian, tidak lulus. Kenapa? Karena politik. Oh iya, karena politik. Terus saya masuk ke Psikologi," ujar Megawati Soekarnoputri di Balai Senat UGM, Rabu (1/10/2025).
