La vittoria di #Radev, con una percentuale vicina al 50%, rappresenta un segnale forte: una maggioranza orientata verso posizioni più dialoganti con la Russia e potenzialmente pronta a esercitare strumenti decisivi come il diritto di veto in sede europea. Il dato sorprende anche per la natura del partito vincente, costruito attorno a una figura già nota - un ex presidente - ma privo, fino a poco tempo fa, di una struttura consolidata. Un fenomeno che richiama dinamiche già viste in altri Paesi dell’Unione.
Il confronto con l’ #Ungheria è inevitabile. La posizione di Viktor #Orbán, spesso critica verso l’Unione Europea, si è scontrata con il blocco di circa 19 miliardi di euro di fondi europei destinati al Paese. Una misura che assume i contorni di una pressione politica. In questo contesto emerge la figura di Magyar, descritto come ancora più a destra di Orbán ma con un approccio pragmatico: ottenere comunque le risorse europee per il proprio Paese.
La Bulgaria presenta però caratteristiche ancora più peculiari. L’adozione recente dell’euro, avvenuta senza referendum e — secondo diverse letture — contro una parte significativa dell’opinione pubblica, ha alimentato tensioni interne. Il presidente Radev, tra i principali oppositori della moneta unica, potrebbe ancora tentare di promuovere una consultazione popolare. Se riuscisse a farlo in tempo, prima che il processo diventi irreversibile, questo potrebbe rappresentare un passaggio cruciale per il futuro del Paese.
