BUNDESTAG: Frühstartrente geht an den Start! Parlament stimmt über Startkapital für Kinder ab | LIVEKinder bekommen 10 Euro im Monat vom Staat - für die Rente, die noch Jahrzehnte entfernt ist. Das ist der Kern der neuen Frühstartrente. Sie soll das Startkapital für die Altersvorsorge sein, unabhängig von den Finanzen der Eltern. Der Bundestag stimmt am Freitag über einen Gesetzentwurf der Bundesregierung ab. Auch in den Bundesrat kommt der Entwurf noch.
Was ist konkret geplant?
Für Kinder und Jugendliche im Alter von 6 bis 18 Jahren werden pro Monat 10 Euro vom Staat in einen Altersvorsorgedepot-Vertrag eingezahlt. Das kann ein von den Eltern ausgewähltes Depot sein, oder automatisch eine von der Bundesbank verwaltete, öffentliche Kapitalanlage.
Die Erträge sind bis zum Beginn der Auszahlungsphase steuerfrei. Ausgezahlt wird das geförderte Kapital laut Finanzministerium grundsätzlich nicht vor Vollendung des 65. Lebensjahres. Eltern und Großeltern können das Depot auch durch freiwillige Zahlungen aufstocken - Einzahlungen bis zu 6.840 Euro im Jahr sind erlaubt.
Gefördert wird laut Finanzministerium nur ein Standarddepot-Vertrag mit dem Kostendeckel von einem Prozent. Bis zur Volljährigkeit dürfen Anbieter keine Abschluss- und Vertriebskosten erheben. Im Finanzausschuss des Bundestags wurde festgelegt, dass das Geld ausschließlich in breit diversifizierte globale Aktien oder Aktienfonds anzulegen ist.
