Le thème du pouvoir d’agir percute profondément Philippe Idiartegaray puisqu’il a perdu un moment tout pouvoir d’agir, au point de réaliser que cet enjeu est tout simplement vital. Il aura donc à cœur de partager comment il a pu développer une autre forme de pouvoir d’agir, face aux handicaps de ses garçons… A l’issue d’une formation longue en sciences humaines, le parcours de Philippe s’est construit au sein de nombreuses associations.Père de quatre enfants, Philippe a exercé en tant que directeur dans le champ de l’éducation, de la solidarité (Caritas, Banque Alimentaire) et maintenant de la Santé Mentale (Clubhouse de Bordeaux).
Il est également investi bénévolement au sein de plusieurs associations dédiées aux aidants et aux familles porteuses de handicap qui ont suscité de nombreux projets innovants ces dernières années (crèche inclusive, dispositif de répit, accès aux loisirs pour tous, de sport partagé avec des personnes handicapées, hébergement solidaire…).
