«È la prima volta che ne parlo: c’è un momento preciso della mia vita dove inizio a fare calcio per sistemare la mia famiglia. Passo dall’oratorio al Lumezzane e poi al Milan, fra il 1992 e il 1994, in coincidenza con la crisi economica in casa: siamo costretti a vendere la fabbrica di tappetini e passiamo anni molto difficili. A quel punto non scherzavo più. Uscito dalla Primavera, il giorno dopo la firma del primo quinquennale col Milan, ero in filiale a firmare il mutuo per comprare la casa ai miei genitori. Il calcio per me non è mai stato solo divertimento» racconta Roberto De Zerbi, allenatore del Marsiglia, in una intervista esclusiva rilasciata al Corriere della Sera.
«Mi sento un figlio di Milanello e del Milan, quello vero: il giorno dopo il primo contratto, ero in filiale a firmare il mutuo per comprare la casa ai miei genitori. Klopp ha ragione: è un lavoro pesante».
