La Universidad Agrícola de China lanza el primer programa universitario de cuidado de mascotas

La Universidad Agrícola de China ha puesto en marcha el primer programa universitario sobre mascotas del país, en el que este año se han matriculado 50 estudiantes para estudiar animales de compañía como perros, gatos, caballos y mascotas exóticas. Los cursos abarcan temas como nutrición, genética y bienestar, mientras que las salidas profesionales incluyen nutricionista de mascotas y especialista en cría. La industria de las mascotas en China está en auge, con más de 100 millones de perros y gatos domésticos. En 2024, el mercado de las mascotas superó los 300.000 millones de yuanes, más de 41.800 millones de dólares estadounidenses.
