Schüsse mit Schreckschusswaffe im Treppenhaus: 17 Menschen in der Mannheimer Innestadt verletzt
Mannheim – Am Dienstagvormittag gegen 11 Uhr kam es in einem Wohngebäude im Quadrat E 3 zu einem Einsatz von Polizei, Feuerwehr und Rettungsdienst nachdem mehrere Personen über Augen- und Atemwegsreizungen klagten. Die Einsatzkräfte konnten die Situation zwischenzeitlich unter Kontrolle bringen, sodass die Anwohner wieder in ihre Wohnungen zurückkehren konnten.Nach aktuellem Ermittlungsstand hat eine bislang unbekannte Person im Treppenhaus mehrere ungezielte Schüsse mit einer Schreckschusswaffe abgegeben. Bei der Nachschau im Gebäudeinneren wurden entsprechende Patronenhülsen sichergestellt.
Mindestens 17 Menschen berichteten über körperliche Beschwerden wie Augen- und Atemwegsreizungen. Ob dabei Reizstoffmunition eingesetzt oder zusätzlich ein Reizstoff versprüht wurde, wird derzeit noch ermittelt. Eine der verletzten Personen musste vom Rettungsdienst in ein Krankenhaus gebracht werden. Das Polizeirevier Mannheim-Innenstadt ermittelt nun wegen gefährlicher Körperverletzung.
