Hillary Clinton: Trump would deserve a Nobel Peace Prize
Former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said Friday that she would nominate her former opponent President Donald Trump for a Nobel Peace Prize if he's able to negotiate a peace deal with Russia without Ukraine having to cede territory.Clinton shared a video on her social media channels with the caption: "If Donald Trump negotiates an end to Putin's war on Ukraine without Ukraine having to cede territory, I'll nominate him for a Nobel Peace Prize myself. Trump should know by now that he's not meeting with a friend of the United States today. He is meeting with an adversary who wants America's destruction and the end of the entire western alliance."
The post came ahead of Friday's high-stakes and historic meeting between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Anchorage, Alaska.
