Otaola muestra imágenes estremecedoras del hospital de Bayamo, morgues llenas y pacientes en el piso
En este segmento, el influencer y activista cubanoamericano Alex Otaola, reacciona a los testimonios y reportes que llegan desde Bayamo tras el paso de Melisa.Según su análisis, la morgue del hospital está colapsada, con cadáveres en camillas ocupando pasillos enteros. Otaola califica las imágenes como un reflejo del abandono que vive el pueblo cubano.
El activista muestra cómo los ancianos enfermos, muchos con neumonía y otros afectados por múltiples virus respiratorios, están tirados en el piso sucio del hospital, sin camas ni condiciones mínimas. Otaola subraya que no se trata de un área desinfectada, sino de un suelo por donde pasa “toda la mugre”, lo que agrava aún más el cuadro.
Durante su análisis, afirma que estas escenas demuestran lo que repite a diario: que si el pueblo continúa callado, seguirá viviendo y muriendo así.
Otaola observa el video del hospital mientras suena música de fondo y describe la ironía dolorosa de ver a un señor agonizando en cualquier rincón, conectado a un suero improvisado. Concluye que nada en ese lugar inspira sanación, sino abandono y desesperanza.
