Arrivano le prime immagini di The Dog Stars, il nuovo film diretto da Ridley Scott e tratto dal romanzo post-apocalittico di Peter Heller, in uscita nelle sale il prossimo 26 agosto. Il film, interpretato da Jacob Elordi, Josh Brolin, Margaret Qualley, Allison Janney e Guy Pearce, ha visto una parte significativa delle riprese svolgersi in Friuli Venezia Giulia, in particolare nel comune di Bordano, scelto per la sua forza visiva e la capacità di trasformarsi in un paesaggio americano segnato da una pandemia globale. Un'altra parte importante delle riprese è stata girata sull'Altopiano del Cansiglio, nel Trevigiano. In questo contesto, un ruolo centrale è stato rappresentato dal fiume Tagliamento, che attraversa l’area, considerato l’unico fiume dell’intero arco alpino e uno dei pochi in Europa a conservare la propria morfologia originaria, elemento di grande valore paesaggistico e naturalistico che ha contribuito in modo significativo alla resa visiva delle riprese.
