Dalam pernyataannya, Khamenei mengklaim bahwa Iran telah menang dalam peperangan melawan Israel dan Amerika Serikat (AS).
Lebih lanjut ia menyebut tak akan pernah gentar untuk menyerang lebih banyak lagi pangkalan udara AS di Timur Tengah jika mereka kembali melakukan penyerangan terhadap Teheran.
Seperti yang diketahui sebelumnya, Panglima Tertinggi Angkatan Bersenjata Iran itu telah lama diburu oleh pasukan Zionis.
Namun militer Israel tak berhasil mengendus keberadaan Khamenei selama bertahun-tahun pencarian.
Hal itu didukung dengan pengakuan Menteri Pertahanan Israel, Israel Katz pada Jumat (27/6/2025).
Katz mengaku bahwa masih melakukan pencarian atas keberadaan Khamenei dalam wawancara dengan Times of Israel.
Ia menyebut bahwa Khamenei sulit ditemukan karena bersembunyi di dalam bunker yang sangat jauh di bawah tanah.
Namun berbeda dengen Katz, sekutu Israel, Donald Trump justru mengaku telah menemukan persembunyian Khamenei.
