KOMPAS.TV - Seorang koki di sebuah restoran hotel di kawasan Jalan Raya Bandara Juanda, Sidoarjo, menciptakan inovasi kuliner unik berupa Puff Rendang Keju.Proses pembuatannya tetap mempertahankan cita rasa khas Rendang Sumatera Barat.
Setelah memasak rendang dengan rempah tradisional, tumisan daun singkong, keju mozzarella, dan daging rendang dibungkus dengan puff pastry, lalu dipanggang selama 20 menit hingga matang sempurna.
Koki yang menciptakan menu ini mengaku ingin memadukan kekayaan rasa Nusantara dengan sentuhan hidangan internasional, seperti Beef Wellington.
Salah satu pengunjung menilai perpaduan crispy-nya puff pastry, gurihnya keju, serta rempah khas rendang menciptakan pengalaman kuliner yang berbeda.
Bagi yang ingin mencicipinya, Puff Rendang Keju dibanderol Rp299.000 per porsi, cukup untuk dinikmati 4-5 orang.
Menu ini juga bisa menjadi alternatif hidangan spesial saat Ramadan.
