Zum Tag der Industrie fordert VDA-Präsidentin Hildegard Müller entschlossenes Handeln von Politik und EU. Die deutsche Automobilindustrie investiere Milliarden in Elektromobilität, Digitalisierung und Forschung, leide jedoch unter hohen Energiepreisen, Bürokratie und mangelnder Wettbewerbsfähigkeit des Standorts Deutschland.
