"Lei è un ciarlatano!", gli ha detto la senatrice dem Maria Cantwell. Elizabeth Warren, una delle senatrici più scatenate, lo ha accusato di aver "privato la popolazione dei vaccini anti Covid". In seguito, il segretario della Salute ha ricordato alla Warren i suoi 855mila dollari di sovvenzioni da Big Pharma. Bernie Sanders, cercando di difendere la senatrice, ha lasciato invece intendere che molti politici ricevono quei finanziamenti.
