Irán ha informado que desde el 28 de febrero más de 1.300 personas han perdido la vida en su territorio y cerca de 10.000 infraestructuras civiles han sido destruidas a causa de los bombardeos conjuntos de Estados Unidos e Israel. El embajador de Irán ante Naciones Unidas, Amir-Saeid Iravani, denunció que se están atacando deliberadamente áreas residenciales densamente pobladas e instalaciones civiles críticas. El diplomático indicó que las explosiones han provocado una grave contaminación del aire y riesgos serios para la salud de la población. Los contraataques iraníes continúan en toda la región.
