ไทยมีฝนตกหนักถึงหนักมากบางแห่ง โดยภาคเหนือ และภาคอีสาน จะเริ่มได้รับผลกระทบก่อน ติดตามใน ฝนฟ้าอากาศ กับ คุณกมลาสน์โดยอธิบดีกรมทรัพยากรน้ำ ลุยจัดงาน "วันอนุรักษ์และพัฒนาแม่น้ำ คู คลอง แห่งชาติ" ในวันที่ 18 กันยายนนี้ มุ่งสืบสานวิถีแห่งสายน้ำ รณรงค์ให้ประชาชนร่วมอนุรักษ์และพัฒนาแม่น้ำ คู คลองอย่างยั่งยืน โดยปีนี้จะเป็นปีที่ไทยจะเผชิญซุปเปอร์เอลนีโญ น้ำจะเยอะมากกว่าทุกปี ซึ่งยังต้องจับตามหาอุทกภัยที่อาจจะเกิดขึ้นได้
สภาพอากาศแต่ละภาค
ภาคเหนือ ฝนฟ้า 70% ของพื้นที่ ตกได้ที่ เชียงใหม่ เชียงราย พะเยา น่าน สุโขทัย อุตรดิตถ์ ตาก กำแพงเพชร และพิจิตร และมีโอกาสตจกหนักที่ พิษณุโลก และเพชรบูรณ์
ภาคอีสาน ฝนตก 70% ของพื้นที่ ฝนตกหนักบางแห่งครอบคลุม เกือบทั่วทั้งภูมิภาค
ภาคกลาง ฝนตก 60% ของพื้นที่ ตกหนักได้ที่ นครสวรรค์ อุทัยธานี ลพบุรี สระบุรี นครปฐม กาญจนบุรี และราชบุรี
ภาคตะวันออก ฝนตก 60% ของพื้นที่ มีฝนตกหนักได้ที่ นครนายก ปราจีนบุรี สระแก้ว จันทบุรี และตราด บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร
ภาคใต้ทั้ง 2 ฝั่ง ฝนตก 30-40% ของพื้นที่ อาจมีฝนตกได้ที่ เพชรบุรี ประจวบคีรีขันธ์ ชุมพร สุราษฎร์ธานี สงขลา ปัตตานี ยะลา นราธิวาส ระนอง และพังงา บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร
กรุงเทพมหานครและปริมณฑล ฝนตก 70% ของพื้นที่ ตกหนักบางแห่ง
