TNI Respons Tuntutan 17 8, Tegaskan Hormati Supremasi Sipil | SAPA PAGI
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Tentara Nasional Indonesia (TNI) merespons tuntutan 17 8, yang tiga di antaranya ditujukan kepada institusi mereka.TNI menyatakan mengapresiasi sejumlah tuntutan dan masukan dari masyarakat.
Kepala Pusat Penerangan TNI, Brigjen Marinir Freddy Ardianzah, menegaskan bahwa TNI menghormati supremasi sipil.
Adapun tiga tuntutan yang ditujukan kepada TNI meliputi segera kembali ke barak, menghentikan keterlibatan dalam pengamanan sipil, menegakkan disiplin internal agar anggota tidak mengambil alih fungsi Polri, serta komitmen publik TNI untuk tidak memasuki ruang sipil selama krisis demokrasi.
