Agus Suparmanto terpilih secara aklamasi dalam Muktamar X yang digelar di Mercure Ancol, Jakarta pada Minggu (28/9/2029) dini hari.
Terpilihnya Agus Suparmanto sebagai Ketua Umum PPP, setelah pimpinan sidang paripurna Muktamar X, Qoyum Abdul Jabbar menanyakan kepada seluruh muktamirin.
“Dengan ini ditetapkan Bapak Agus Suparmanto sebagai Ketua Umum Partai Persatuan Pembangunan masa bakti 2025-2030,” kata Qoyum Abdul Jabbar di arena utama Muktamar X PPP.
Sejumlah pengurus DPW dan DPC yang hadir pun berteriak “aklamasi”.
Kumandang takbir dan serua ‘Ketua Umum Baru’ pun menggema di arena Muktamar.
“Pada malam hari ini kita sudah memiliki Ketua Umum baru DPP Partai Persatuan Pembangunan,” kata Qoyum Abdul.
Sebelumnya, Muhammad Mardiono mengumumumkan dirinya terpilih sebagai Ketua Umum PPP secara aklamasi, namun hal itu diketahui klaim sepihak.
Qoyum mengatakan bahwa klaim itu dilakukan hanya berdasarkan absen, lalu disebarkan ke media sosial.
"Masa argumentasi aklamasi hanya dengan absen, ya nggak bisa seperti itu," jelasnya.
Dia mengatakan, meskipun terjadi dinamika sidang, namun menurutnya sidang-sidang tetap berjalan seperti biasa.
"Bisa kita lihat, buktinya tidak ada apa-apa, peserta Muktamirin suka cita, ini fakta yang berbicara," jelasnya. (Tribun-Video.com)
