Sinopsis: La película de ciencia ficción, terror, aventuras y acción "El Lagarto Gigante" cuenta la historia de una fábrica en un país del sudeste asiático en la que accidentalmente se formó un lagarto monitor mutante debido a la descarga de aguas residuales. El jefe Wu Dechang ordenó al capataz Hu Tianzhao que bajara de la montaña para reunir a un grupo de aldeanos para eliminar a la bestia. El mejor cazador de la aldea, Hu Tianming, y el zoólogo Zhao Xiaoye encontraron la residencia del lagarto monitor a través de hábitos biológicos.
