A Toyota tem uma imagem de qualidade tão forte no Brasil que ela nem precisa de caprichar muito em seus lançamentos que o pessoal faz fila na porta da concessionária para comprar qualquer coisa que ela lança, como foi o caso do Corolla Cross.E o próximo é o Yaris Cross, que tem lançamento marcado para o outubro, com mais de um ano de atraso, que a empresa explica por obras na fábrica de Sorocaba. Mas ela não explica a lambança que fez no Japão ao fraudar os testes de segurança do Yaris Cross, reforçando a estrutura dos protótipos para serem aprovados.
E ele chega para concorrer com Nissan Kicks, Hyundai Creta ou Volkswagen T-Cross. Assim como o Corolla Cross, ele também terá uma versão híbrida, que será a mais barata do Brasil.
